John 8:31-36

Jesus provides the greatest freedom of all – spiritual freedom from sin. Jesus provides:

1. freedom from the burden of trying to earn God’s approval on the basis of your own works

2. freedom from the guilt that accompanies sin

3. freedom from spiritual death in hell – freedom from the everlasting punishment that you deserve because of your sins

4. freedom from the dominating power of sin in daily life

5. ultimately, freedom from the presence of sin
