James 1:17

1. God’s gift of common blessings – blessings that are experienced by all people and not restricted to believers (Matthew 5:45)

2. God’s gift of salvation, offered to the world and received by individual people through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

3. God’s gift of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every person who is saved (John 14:16-17; 1 Corinthians 6:19)

4. God’s gift of all things needed by those who are saved for life and godliness, including spiritual gifts (2 Peter 1:3; Romans 12:3-8)

5. God’s gift of promises that are exceedingly great and precious (2 Peter 1:4)
