1. The earthly blessing of freedom as a nation which has has been paid for by many patriots

personal application: Thank God for the blessings, opportunities, and freedoms we enjoy as Americans, and pray faithfully for our community and our nation.

2. The eternal blessing of spiritual freedom which was paid for in full by the Lord Jesus Christ’s death on the cross (Galatians 5:1)

personal applications:

1. Live a holy life, obeying the Lord and lovingly serving others (Galatians 5:13).

2. Spread the news that there is eternal spiritual freedom available through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
