Acts 11:1-18
1. There are people who will criticize you, even when you obey God (Acts 11:1-3).
2. In answering your critics, emphasize what God has done in your life and how you have obeyed Him (Acts 11:4-17).
1) God responds to our prayers (Acts 11:5).
2) God has specific people in specific places at specific
times (Acts 11:5).
3) God makes us aware of areas in which our thinking
needs to change (Acts 11:5-10).
4) God’s timing is perfect (Acts 11:11).
5) God directs us to do things we’ve never done before to
accomplish His purpose (Acts 11:12).
6) God prepares people in advance for the way He wants
us to minister to them (Acts 11:13-14).
7) God wants people who are not saved to be saved (Acts
11:14).
8) God does things that are greater than what we expect
(Acts 11:15).
9) God keeps His promises (Acts 11:16).
10) God’s will must not be resisted (Acts 11:17).
Action point: Give glory to God for providing salvation for people of all nationalities (Acts 11:18).
