Acts 9:10-19
On the road to Damascus, Saul was certainly surprised when a bright light shone from heaven and Jesus spoke to him. But God had another glorious surprise for someone else who lived in Damascus.
1. There are unexpected things God commands us to do (Acts 9:10-16).
2. It is vitally important to pray as you seek what God wants you to do (Acts 9:11).
3. Great suffering is sometimes experienced by disciples of Jesus, in addition to great blessings and great privileges (Acts 9:15-16).
4. There is ample evidence that salvation has taken place in a person’s life (Acts 9:17-19).
Action point: Be committed to obeying what God wants you to do (Acts 9:17).
