Matthew 26

1. The crucifixion of Jesus was the eternal plan of God to provide for our salvation (Matthew 26:1-2).

2. God overrules the wicked efforts of people and accomplishes His purpose (Matthew 26:14-16, 20-25).

3. Jesus is our Passover Lamb, sacrificed on the cross for us. His death makes it possible for all those who put their faith in Him to be completely forgiven and delivered from the penalty they deserve for their sins (Matthew 26:26-29).
