1. God is the God of all comfort; He comforts us in all our troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

2. All our present difficulties are light and brief compared to eternity in the presence of the Lord (2 Corinthians 4:7-8).

3. Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are new creatures (2 Corinthians 5:17) and are made righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21).

4. Those who are saved are Christ’s ambassadors; our responsibility is to urge others to be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:18-20).

5. God gives grace and strength that enable us to persevere (2 Corinthians 12:1-10).
