There will be a church fall cookout on Friday, October 6, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Chester Frost Park shelter #4, 2277 Gold Point Circle N. in Hixson.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and beverages will be provided. The cost is $4 each plus one side dish per person (a single person, bring one side; a couple, bring two sides) from the following: cold salads (potato, pasta, slaw, fruit, etc.), desserts, baked beans – need 3, chili – need only 2. There is no cost for children under age 12. Please bring your own lawn chair(s). A sign-up sheet is at the information center.
