Gordon Mote will be in concert at Hickory Valley Baptist Church, 2320 Hickory Valley Road, on Sunday, May 20, at 10:45 a.m.

Gordon was born totally blind, but has been playing the piano since age 3. He played for the Gaither Vocal Band for 6 1/2 years. He is a studio musician in Nashville,playing on recordings for many artists. His recording, “Hymns and Songs of Inspiration,” was nominated for a Grammy Award.

There is no admission charge; a love offering will be taken.
